The call nobody picked up

Law firm answering service

A 24/7 answering service for lawyers, and an AI receptionist for law firms, is the search when a call comes in and nobody is at the desk. This page does that one job: a consult slot on your calendar, and an intake note a person at the firm confirms. It gives no legal advice.

Turn a voice memo into the intake email, summarize the thread if the caller already wrote, and read whether business data is safe in a chat tool before you paste the matter.

Book the consult, and keep the opinion with a lawyer

Publish one Google Calendar booking page for consultations. The voicemail asks for a name, a number, and the kind of matter in one sentence. The prompt turns that message into an intake note. A person at the firm checks conflicts and confirms the time. The note never says someone has a case.

Write what the phone is allowed to collect

On one page, list the matters you take, the matters you do not, and the four facts you need: name, callback number, kind of matter, and the other party's name if you run a conflict check. The answer-sheet article linked below is the writing pass. The booking page may not add a question that is not on the sheet.

Open a consult page in Google Calendar

Do this on a computer. The appointment schedule is created in the browser, not in the phone app.

  1. Open Google Calendar. Click Create, then Appointment schedule.
  2. Title it Consultation. Set the length you actually sit with someone, and only the hours a person is free.
  3. Click Next, then Save. Under Booking pages, copy the link.
  4. Put the link in the greeting. Say that a consult on the page is a time hold until the firm confirms it.
  5. Book a test slot from your phone and delete it.

Turn the voicemail into an intake note

Paste the transcript under the prompt. File the note where the firm already keeps intake. Do not send the caller an opinion. If a line says MISSING, a person asks before anyone treats the consult as confirmed.

Paste this, then paste the transcript under it

You turn a voicemail transcript into an intake note for a law firm.
Use only facts in the transcript. If a fact is missing, write MISSING.

Output:
- Name
- Callback number
- Kind of matter, in their words
- Opposing party, or MISSING
- Time they asked for, or MISSING

Do not say they have a case.
Do not give legal advice.
Do not tell them what the situation means.
If they asked for an opinion, write: a lawyer decides. This note does not.

If you would rather have it built

Deeplathe builds custom AI inside the tools a business already uses. For this job, that is the voicemail becoming a booking note in Google Calendar and the inbox the firm already uses, waiting until a person confirms it. Less than a hire, more output. The steps above are the whole fix if you want to do it yourself.

Questions

Is this a 24/7 answering service for lawyers?

That is the search. The fix is a consult booking page, a greeting, and an intake note a person confirms. The firm still picks up when someone is at the desk.

Will it give legal advice or tell a caller they have a case?

No. The prompt forbids both. A lawyer decides what the situation means. The note only records what the caller said.

What about callers who will not use a booking link?

The greeting still asks for a name, a number, and the kind of matter. The transcript becomes the intake note. A person confirms or declines the time.

Can the note check conflicts by itself?

No. It can write down the other party's name when the caller said it. A person at the firm runs the conflict check before the consult is confirmed.
